A native Ohioan, Kelsey Dillon was looking for a liberal arts school with a strong science program so she could "explore a lot of different options." She chose Kenyon for its combination of academic rigor and friendly collaboration in the labs. A molecular biology major, Kelsey is busy working on her senior honors project with her professor and mentor, Andrew Kerkhoff. When she's not at Higley Hall, you can find her playing club soccer, giving campus tours, or leading elementary school field trips at the Brown Family Environmental Center. After graduation, Kelsey hopes to work in an ecology lab while applying to graduate school to continue her study of biology. Her dream job? To do research in eastern Africa, where she studied abroad her junior year.
