Rebecca Katzman of St. Louis, Missouri, always knew she wanted to attend a small liberal arts college. But it was the feeling she got when visiting the Gambier, Ohio, campus that sold her on Kenyon. "All it took was an overnight stay for me to fall absolutely in love," says Becca, who most appreciates Kenyon's "beautiful, rural location" for giving her the opportunity to learn about and engage with her surroundings. Calling Kenyon a "dynamic place to study and live," the sociology major and English minor stays busy on campus as the manager of the Rural Life Center and president of PEAS (People Endorsing Agrarian Sustainability). After graduation, Becca is open to any career possibility, but is "certain it will involve writing."
